A rebel force has taken a diplomatic embassy by force and are holding VIPs hostage. The deadline is approaching and the only option is to send in the S.W.A.T. teams.



What does the activity include?

Throughout the day, participants will be introduced to many areas familiar to SWAT teams and special forces operatives.
A few of the areas you will encounter include firearms training, room clearance techniques, building entry, hostage rescue, planning and more. The day is designed to be a fun and informative insight into the skills and training employed by the special forces.




Where does the experience take place?

Nottingham.




What should I wear?

Please wear casual clothing and dress appropriately for the weather conditions. We suggest a tracksuit or jeans with trainers.




How long should I allow for this experience?

You should allow a full day for this activity.




When does the activity take place?

There are a number of set dates throughout the year. Numbers are strictly limited so please book as early as possible.

I have read an article about that, you get shouted at if you don't aim for the head, apparently.

On a similar event, which is run by two ex SAS dudes you get to camp out in a field and move slowly towards a shed, during the afternoon you get to throw some fake flash bags in the shed, run in, shout, shoot a fake gun at some guy in a balaclava (ooo he sounds like the guy that has been training you) and then get shouted at when the other SAS guy shoots you in the head as you forgot to check behind the door.

 

Two hundred nicker to get headshotted after 10 seconds, no way!!

I would definatley lag, unless there is a clearing a room full of booze exercise.

By the way, where do you guys see the STi locked server stats ?

I want to see the STi rankings though without having to filter the other players manually

More to the point, anybody got any idea why I couldnt type or buy after the first round until I reconnected (every other round) was fine on BW until we all mooched over to STi locked ?

Norm, I saw what looks like 1fps from you. When I get a bit of lag when starting a new map, I just escape back to the screen where you pick a server and click resume. This always sorts it out for me.

In the URL "hl1stats" indicates Rogue Public and "hl3stats" is the Locked Server. (I'm guessing "hl2stats" is the Custom Map Server)

The other difference to the URLs is the first merely searchs for players with [STi] in the name, the second lists Clan [STi] by skill ranking.

Deano (Smug 'cos the hl1stats/hl3stats was explained by Mike a while ago )

note: the Clan [STi] url will change between servers 'cos the CLan number will be different I think
