first you need some web space to host your web pages. the hosting can be either from your ISP (free web space from them) or from a hosting company. if from your ISP free web space, the URL will be like http://www.myisp.co.uk/users/yourloginname. if you register a domain name, you can have the URL as http://www.yourdomainname.co.uk.

once you done your web pages, you will upload them into the web space using FTP software.

Lee @ http://www.titanhosts.net . alot of people on here use them for domain registering and hosting. service is fantastic and hosting is next to none.

have a look at their website and email him at Lee@titanhosts.net . tell him what you need and he'll sort you out with the names/hosting side.

Rob,

There's a hosting provider near you in Hoddesdon, Advantage Interactive (www.advantage-interactive.com), their systems work because I set them up They can also register domains for you via lowcostnames (www.lowcostnames.com), same company.

Steve.

when i started i had a book which was like a dictionary and that was good help if i got stuck. Without spending any money just go to a website you like the look of and click View, Source and it loads up in notepad the html for the site. Put your thinking cap on and you will be able to figure out whats going off
