Default Calendar Software?

Anyone recommend some freebie software to create basic calendar stuff please?

Just needed to keep basic records of activities on a daily basis and say print off in A4 format records in say a week and month format. Fairly idiot proof and nothing fancy required.

I tried Outlook which has a calendar facility but didn't get off to a good start - found diary but when I started to enter stuff and hit return for next line it went into e-mail mode! Thanks, d

David, I use a low-tech solution for day-to-day to do lists and checking of activities: Plain and simple notepad with a list of the days in the month and indenting tasks under each day as and when I plan to do them. At the end of the month I archive off the previous months "Done" list and print if necessary.

Some of the guys I work with use the task list in outlook as you can assign tasks but I found it unecessarily complex.

Ok - thanks. Will probably end up with similar but it would be nice to be able to print off a week or a month for sometime in the future that can be taken to a meeting and filled in manually (before entering for PC storage) - exactly the same as a Diary I suppose!!

I0 years ago I used something called Calendar Creator called CC4 I think, an old DOS based programme, but I expect that is long gone.

PS. Don't forget to chew them nails dl

Calendar Project - Home of Lightning and Sunbird®

Any good? I've been looking at Sunbird...I use Outlook to sync my PDA to but I want something that will run on Mac and Windows.

Thanks guys - I'll investigate. I did try google but all I got were a million "how to make your own xmas calendars". I'll need to find out what "sync my PDA" means I guess

Cheers, d

It's not a search for calendars on Google, it's googles own calendar application.
