ipconfig ?

got a computer in an office that doesnt connect to the network and when you ipconfig it, it doesnt list any of the lan connections. Any ideas why no connections, addresses are listed?

Enabled in BIOS? Drivers installed?

start > control panel > system > Device manager

If the drivers are installed, have you got the tcpip protocol enabled on that adapter?

Probably disable in Device manager. That was 9/10 of the issue I found when troubleshooting Blank IP info.

I say follow the advice above.

Check its installed
Check its enabled
Does it even say "Windows IP configuration" ?
