I tried Thunderbird last year and wasn't impressed - has it come on much ?

I just use MS Outlook 2007, but this latest version seems really sluggish at times.

do you use Kaspersky? - Outllook seems to take a while to load and I think its this.

can also pause when I'm in the middle of typing an email

don't get the problem with anything else.

Nope, I use Nod32. Sounds like Kapersky may be the problem to me...

Outlook for me too (2003). That's my work client and I'm on a Blackberry, so that's on my home PC too. Works well, loads of features and coupled with a decent desktop search product like Coppernic, then you'll have a decent setup...

If you have some time on your hands you could run through this list.....
