sorry if this is already on here but whats the main difference between them. I own a 360 and play online all the time and cant warrent buying one if there the same apart from the bigger hard drive and a HDMI connection.

Only other thing is that it should have an extra heatsink inside depending on how old your current 360 is.

Before anyones asks - no, the Elite's do not have the 65nm chips in them, nor do they have a quieter DVD drive...

God when you put it like that (quite rightly!) the more I think you would have to be absolutely ****ing mental to buy a 360, elite or otherwise until they have sorted out problems.

Any console with a manufacture date later than 5th July 2007 has it, and any console repaired since then should also have it.

i bought a console because i couldnt be bothered to keep spending lots upgrading my pc to keep up. I dont expect to have to do it with a console...the lifespan on these xbox's is shocking

I'm buying an Elite for my living room now so I can have the bigger HDD and HDMI. It makes sense for me to wait until the deals appear with Halo3 thrown in, so I should get the Elite + 2 games for £300 ish with any luck.

On Sunday I bought an Elite (I already have a Premium upstairs), Blue Dragon, Ghost Recon 2, and HD DVD drive for £370 all in.I'm still undecided as to whether to keep it or not though as it was a kind of impulse purchase!!
