Xbox 360 profiles
I''ve just bought a 360 but I have a profile on my girlfirends 360 of which I've done a far bit. I've not downloaded anything, just got quiet far on the games I've played (Forza2 and Rainbow Six: Las Vegas) and built a decent profile. Can I transfer that profile onto my xbox 360 or do I have to start all over again?

you should be able to transfer the profile on a memory card to your 360.
if it's a live profile just recover the account onto the new Xbox via the dashboard menus.

if you decied to get a live profile you will loose everything 
i was the same
tried everything but couldnt find a workaround that worked so started from scratch 
simple system profile is easy to swap over .

Your saved games wont move over though.
Buy a memory card, then copy your saved games onto it then paste them onto your new profile on your 360.

i found that some games would move over, cant remember which ones they were, i think one of them might have been call of duty 2?
gears defo never moved over as i remember having to restart.
