Question Anyone recommend me a webcam

Me and the family are off to Australia for a few years [+] and want to get the grandparents webcams [plus us], just so we can keep in touch

Can anyone recommend a good resolution webcam to use.

Cheers

Creative have good webcams. Not sure on there model range but if you spend around 30 you should get a decent one. Anything more expensive would have functions that your grandparents won't get around using.

Agreed !

The more you pay the better the result but you only need so much !

I wouldn't use MSN either, it reduces the quality.. find a package to install on both PCs and create like a IP to IP connection ! Would work much better.

hi,
I got the logitech quickcam communicate STX plus, only realy got if for the kids to keep in touch with there friends throughout the school holidays.

Picture is good and built in microphone works a treat, came with skype and included a stereo headset with boom mic, kids love it.

Was on offer at pcworld on a two for one, probably a lot better out there but been plenty happy with it for the price.
