New 360 Dashboard update?
Just had to apply a new dashboard update. Anyone know what has changed?
Took an age to display the dashboard once it had reset itself after applying the update!

as said its a bit weird forcing the update to everyone.
ah so there is a problem with autosign in with wifi, its connected but only states so when loading a game from cd

When I saw that post I thought "Ahhh" as I'd wondered what had been going on with my connection via wifi!

No way was it just that update. Took a bit to download on a 2meg line. I'd guess it was about a 50meg file? For just that?!
I think the navigation round the dash is quicker now. Be interesting to see if they have told the truth.

How does major nelson still have a MS blog ? he now works for EA ?
Edited to say, isnt the flash just 16meg, so a 50 meg update, i dont think so

reports on xbox scene of new dead machines
did anybody elses machine make a little "pop" noise when it restarted after the update??
current thoughts are that they have blown another "efuse"
it was not a noise i have heard before and it did make me think it had blown up at the time!

Mine updated fine, although it was very slow, took a minute or two after it just stopped the first time and I cancelled it. Used Media Centre and played The Darkness with no problems.
