Question

According to the handbook in FS2002, there is an option to record and playback video of your flights.
How the hell do you do it, cos I can't find the flight video menu option anywhere?

I wondered whether it was only the Professional Edition which had this function, but nowhere does it mention that that is the case.

Anybody used it?

Cheers

I borrowed the pro version from a mate but didn't bother taking the manual (you've seen the size of it!). Having messed around with it quite a few times I can't ever remember seeing an option to record a flight so you can watch it later.

When you do a training mission, at the end you are given the option to view your flight but this is just in diagramatic form.

Steve,

I have FS 2002 Pro edition and you are viewing the simulator in full screen mode which is the default setting.

What you need to do is when you load a flight and your ready, hit the ALT and ENTER keys together to bring up the menu bar at the top of the screen, then go into options and there you will find all the video options. You will see a proper video of your flight either from cockpit or the different outside views.

It will stay in menu bar mode even if you close the game and then come back again. You can swap back from menu bar mode to full screen mode or vice versa whenever you like by hitting the ALT and ENTER keys together.

Cheers,

Wrexy.
