Dual / Bonding broadband connections
Is anyone doing this at the moment?
I've got 20mb cable from Virgin Media but I'm considering taking Sky's free adsl offering which is inclusive in my package. I've seen Draytek do some twin WAN input routers but wondered if anyone has experience in bonding or joining broadband connections ?

Get a firebrick 105 router with bonding module and use packet by packet bonding, The sending end has to decide which internet connection to send each packet over. This is easy for uplink traffic (for example your FireBrick can just send packets up each connection in turn, using Uplink Bonding), but it gets more difficult for downlink traffic, as the sending (remote) end will just use a target IP address that is routed to one of your connections. There are two obvious solutions to this, one is to use Downlink Load Sharing, the other is to use another FireBrick at the far end.
