Wireless laptop.
Im lookin for a wireless laptop.
Problem is i dont have a clue what to look for.
I dont need a top of the range model as i do nothing but browse the net and send the odd e mail amonst mates.
we do have a wireless router in the house though,so it needs to be wireless enabled and fairly fast,as i hate page loading time..
Any idea's or reccomendations guys??
How much am i looking at spending? Are the "Acer" ones that are around £300 new good enough for what i want??
Cheers
Gary

A friend of mine recently bought and Acer and he thinks it's great. Paid around £350 for a dual core model, the minimum you should consider. PC World had one in at £199 at the weekend, cheap and cheerful, not sure about reliability and backup support though.
If you want to pay a bit more, the Apple Macbook is a good spec and easy to use, but at £699 not cheap.......
Look for:
Dual core processor - Preferable
1gb of RAM (memory)
Windows Vista
80GB + hard drive
Built in wireless 802.11b/g
