More Mac madness!
My Mac does it's weekly check in for System Updates and recently there were a whole bunch of them (including the seemingly now weekly release of iTunes!).
One was for my 'superdrive' and now if I restart my machine the Superdrive update starts and produces an error message, "No updateable devices found", followed by, "No devices were found that require this firmware update.".
So, tell me Mr Apple, if there were no devices found that require this firmware update then why are you repeatedly trying to update the device!!

To be honest I rarely bother with the updates, apart from the OS/security ones, and don't seem to have encountered any problems because of it....

Package is installed in /Applications/Utilities/ so try removing that.
Also, open up System Preferences, go into Accounts and select your account, click on "Login Items" see if there is an in there for the superdrive firmware update. If there is, click the padlock, enter admin name and password, and then select the item in the list and click "-" to remove it.
You may also want to check /Library/StartupItems/ to see if an item was placed in there, if so, remove it.
