Default MS Office

Hi all,

After 2 pcs' died i've got my ne wone. yay. The new one doesn't have office, I've got one of the old HDD's as a drive in the new PC. However each time I try to use ofice it says it needs to be installed, despite already being on the HDD.

Of course I can't find the original office CD's.

I have found some office disks but I'm pretty sure they were from work and I suspect I shouldn't be installing them on my home PC ...

How can I get it to work?

You can't without the installation files, CD/DVD. Office installs files in the windows dir and more importantly lots of entries in the registry, on the local machine. So it simply won't work from another drive like you are trying to do.
