Apologies if this doesnt make much sense im not exactly sure how to word it.

Basically id like to watch video on my TV through my laptop. Iv managed to get the video on the screen using the S-video cable like this.

But i get no audio. Are the red & white leeds for the sound ?

My tv has red & yellow connection but they are not on my laptop.

Is there a way to do this ? If so how, what will i need to buy.

Any help would be much aprechiated.

Correct the s-video lead is as it suggests is just a video line. You need to connect the red/white leads from the tv sound out to your lappy's soundcard somehow. You can get USB devices which do it all I believe.
