following on from another thread i read on here . i got in touch with virgin media about my modem upgrade, it arrived yesterday and i fitted it today . well im downloading at 15mbps now and i never once got an email to say the 20mb service was working in my area !! the downsides are that i'm getting a 9gig film so in about 40 minutes ill be back down to 10mb lol

Not everybody is rolled out at 20 yet so i guess thats why they've said nothing.

5mb mate, the 20mb drops to 5mb when you hit the limit

it took 40 minutes and i hit their limit and it was tright down to 4mbps but after 12 midnight it jumped to 19mbps

some idiot at the call centre told me to get my stuff during the day ?? bit torrent has a lot to answer for as thats the normal way most people that have no idea grab stuff

FFS just timed it to download a 1gig film on newsgroups and it took 6 minutes on 18.8mbps full speed thats some going !! i have heard sky has a worse fair use policy ?? is it worth swapping ??

Is there limit actually legit, i've come home from work, downloaded a 600-700mb demo from 360 marketplace and then tried downloading on the pc and only getting 500k.
