Been playing for a few days now, and its going to take ages to get up the ranks looking at the points needed !
I often get barred or kicked off games - I assume because of my ranking (usually happens when the yanks are playing !)

Anyone know any tips for getting up the rankings faster?

I have heard the one about starting a 2 player game with a friend and killing them at the end of the game to get the 300-odd points.

survival ? game type.

2 players (over live) - each puts an elastic band around the sticks to stop it switching off and then go to bed. you get points for surviving the match and for the length of time.

know of 2 lads who did this for a week to get the top rank.

re being kicked off. check your NAT status in the Live settings. could be that.

I just played LVU campus with a mate on terrorist hunt a good few times. 600 points for doing that.

just do the survival game type but dont kill each other, then you'll both get points.

the elastic band trick means you can do it unattended.

there is a glitch where if you take over a colonel account and with some signing in and out jiggery pokery you can take over that rank with the donor maintaining their rank. Then when you get to Elite you get the 40G.

I just did umpteen hundred T-Hunts in LVU (realistic and high = 25 terrorists and 600 points), I got Elite yesterday....

Look out for RJB24 - I play it loads, would be nice to not have to put up with screaming 8 year olds.....

Play attack and defend rather than survival or sharpshooter, as long as the match lasts till near the end you'l get around 1200 points on the winning team. Don't play it much now but some of the guys I played with would string the game out just to get the extra points.

...but you can whizz through LVU in 2-2.5 minutes and get 2x600 anyway...

Sure I've not got near 600 points for survival, more like 200 a pop...Not a big player of it though, still only Master Sergent...
