I wonder if this will have a impact ond the disc format war...

...But then again, we all know that a certain industry has chosen the HD-DVD format, i.e. Sony doesn't what to sell 'dirty' discs.

if you're looking for filth on blu-ray you're obviously not looking hard enough.
The 2 formats are virtually identical, only real difference is that the pits on the discs are at different depths - other than that it just down to software which is hardly insurmountable.
