Question Labels in Word 2000 - Any gurus here?

All I want to do is to produce mailing labels (to different addresses) using Word 2000 and 16 lables per sheet. I have failed miserably.

So I go into label option and choose the Avery code which is L7162 which is for 16 labels per sheet.

This gives me a box and I start typing the first address. But what the hell do I do then?? I can't find how to Save the file or even move onto the next address.

Any help/pointers would be much appreciated. Yes I have tried to look at my 2000 page book on Word basics TIA dl

In the first box click "Full Page of the same label" radio button and then "New Document" and you'll get a properly formatted page that's saveable as a doc.

I always mean to look in to all the mail merge stuff but never bother. This is simple enough for when I need a stack of labels.

Thanks for that - I'll give that a whirl. I had avoided that option as I assumed it was for 16 labels all with the same address on rather than different addresses but we'll see d

If you do it before you type, you'll get a page of blank labels
