Default outlook express help neededed

for some strange reason i cant send emails all of a sudden ? i get error


The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was 'h*****k@hotmail.co.uk'. Subject 'Re: Question for item #320121606363 - Subaru impreza 4 piece lightweight pulley kit Blue', Account: 'info@cdfracing.co.uk', Server: 'smtp.cdfracing.co.uk', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 RCPT TO:<h*****k@hotmail.co.uk> Relaying not allowed - please use SMTP AUTH', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79




anyone know why this is doing this?

sounds like your internet providers SMTP server (the one that SENDS emails) needs authentication

to fix this problem

in outlook express > tools > accounts > mail > properties > servers tab > tick the box at the bottom that says my server requires authentication
