Question Small business s/w?

Sage is too pricey but excepted by accountants etc.

What other packages can do the whole thing for not much dosh?

From quote to invoice, stock, PO, payroll etc

speak to Barclays Bank, open a buissness account and the sage software is on offer with there full support.

The sage through barclays is rented and starts at about £30 a month so it doesnt work out that cheap. You can get a copy of Sage Instant for £99 from PC world and your accountant who will probably be running Sage Line 50 can import your data from Instant.

You wont find any of the entry level packages including payroll (but can do everything else you want) but again you can get sage instant payroll for £99.

Sage will pay for itself in the long run as it'll keep your accountant's bills down.

No, there aren't any cheap alternatives to do all your accounting in one package unfortunately. Not if you want to do it properly anyway
