Question Cds to wma or mpeg

Have just changed my head unit in car and will play wma & mpeg formats. Now I want to convert CDs to that format to get loads of albumns onto 1 CD. I run XP but Windows Media & my version of Nero dont seem to offer the facility. Am i doing something wrong or do I need some more software - if so what do you recommend.

Cheers for any advice

My guess is that if it supports mpeg then it will handle MP3, so you'd just need to rip the cd's to mp3 format, Nero and possibly even Windows Media Player should have support for that.

Windows Media Player
Tools>Options>Rip Music
then in the format box select MP3 and using the slider choose your audio quality. Hit OK

Insert a CD, hit 'Rip' tab, and then start the rip. Hey presto, all that CD will be ripped to your HDD.

You can then just burn the tracks to a CD in the normal fashion

I use Ashampoo MP3. Has a nice easy interface/wizard and will even normalize the volume on all tracks to be at the same level. So you won't after fiddle with the volume on your car stereo system.
