I clicked on a link last night on this thread

And seem to have got a nasty virus, the virus is called Trojan Horse Generic3.FKN,

Iv searched for info on it on the net and cant find any anywhere,

I cant do things like change comp theme, background, screen res etc.

Iv uninstalled avg as its found the virus but wont seem to heal it (i dont think ) iv tried to download NOD32 but have found out i cant seem to download anything, i cant change my homepage, and none of my sites i frequent will remember my user log in or password,

When i first got the virus last night it shut down my internet connection, could not even use my 360 from my wirless router, i rolled the comp back a couple of days and the internet now works, the x-box will still not connect to it though?

What is going on ?

Now going to try to boot in safe mode and go from there.

Any help will be very much apriciated.

Also my disc clean up tool will not work, neither will the defrag tool ?

This guy is a **** by the looks of it as he is under investigation by the police and scoobynet.
Have you tried downloading any other av software (www.avast.com)?

and btw you may have issues with any passwords you have used on websites - just be aware until you have a clean machine then change any you may have used.

You need 'Spybot Seach And Destroy'. A free download. If you have MSM I could try sending it to you.. If you try to download this from the Net be sure it is the right one or you may end up with more prob's. If you want to try a MSM download then PM me. Not tried sharing a full program before, it should work, 95% sure.
