Hi - got a website with all pages making use of the same flash movie - it's not via frames.

Trouble is that everytime I click a hyperlink to take me to another page in the site the flash movie plays again !!

How do I stop it playing on other pages in the site once it's played on the homepage?

It's doing my head in !! aaarrgghh!!

Well the easiest way out is to use frames, that way you isolate the flash in its own frame. Or a bit more complex is using a variable, which will trigger a certain frame in your flash movie.

I bloody hate sites that do that on the home page !!

sounds like each page is a mix of html and flash ? put the home page flash in one .fla and write another .fla for the rest?
