yup gonna lose my custom if they dont pull their finger out soon

bought a unit years ago...it failed
contacted them, they sent a new unit and apologised and to make it up, they gave me a free extra 6 months subscription..how useful is that if I cant update it

jeez..vista has been out for a while now and even longer in development, surely they could have got ready for it.but no, lets just put up a sign on our website that says its microsoft's problem...*****

Can you not just run XP through virtual PC from a DVD image and save the sync files to the hard drive until the vista updates come in ?

Not the point really, as Tony said Vista has been out for quite a while so surely they should have solved the problem by now!

Besides I haven't got a clue about what you said to do

he means run an emulation program running XP alongside or in parallel to your vista OS. whilst it does work and would solve the problem, it is a bit OTT just to run one blinking program.

me, I am amusing myself in the meantime by sending tech support snotty emails and having to use the xp pc in the office.

Missed a call today on my mobile, didn't recognize the number so thought nothing of it, got home and had an email from them saying that they had called and wanted to know how they can make amends on this situation.

See what happens next
