Default Recommend some good computer manufacturers please

I'm looking to purchase a few new PCs for various friends/family members. I don't have the time to build and maintain the machines, so we need to purchase from a reputable company. Price regions are £350-£700

Dell are on the list, but are currently losing ground due to no PS2 ports, no base unit packages, and poor GPU options on their mid priced machines.

Mesh seem to be winning be around at the moment.

Any other option people would recommend. Its been too long since I bought from these various companies to know what their tech support/reliability is like these days.

Buy a Mac then you get the best of both worlds

A 17" iMac will fit your budget.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll have a look at Evesham.

Macs are out of the question though, too much hassle with getting compatible software/ drivers etc for legacy devices

Mmmm, after reading that site it appears its almost impossible to get through to Mesh on the phone. That is not so good

I did have a Mesh a few years ago, and they were fine then. Maybe things have changed?
