ip address masking??
Is there any way to mask my ip address. The reason im asking is im on a network in my house and when my housemate and me go on online poker sites were not allowed to play at the same tables. Were only doin it for a bit of fun but want to be able to play against each other.
The site has said they block anyone with the same ip playing at the same table and so were not allowed which is really annoying.
Does anyone know any way around this.
Any help really appreciated.
Thanks

You could use a proxy server (do a google search) which would mask things, or you could use something like anonymouse.
You will be breaking the rules of the poker site as it has this IP check in place to prevent cheating so it is possible they might ban your account if they happen to find out you're breaking the rules.

I most definitely would not use an online gambling site through an anonymising proxy, any more than I'd do my online banking through one, you've got to be mad!

You still might not be successful even if you did use the proxy route (which I agree with Steve, is a bad idea anyway) - gambling sites are doing some very clever stuff with anti fraud measures that are built into their software now. Tested a fair bit of it for my previous company. Forget the banks - if you want to know how to setup good security, speak to an online casino / gambling company!
