DVD to divx - avi ?
I've built a new pc thats going to be used as a media centre.We have over 300 DVD's which obviously take up a lot of space & was wondering if theres a way of converting some of them to divx. I've seen programs knocking about that offer this option, but how easy and practical are they?
Are there any freeware options
any advice appreciated

Auto Gordian Knot is what you're looking for.
Works really well but take the time to read the tutorial first.
