Shutting down and Starting problem....
Hi,
Just a quick one...
Any ideas......?
Got a PC that automatically switches on when the mouse is moved.....
The PC definitely shuts down (not hibernate or standby), but powers up at the slightest move of the mouse.
Cannot find anything in power options or mouse options. Any ideas appreciated!!!

never heard of that before!!!
very odd! (the processor must be running for it to recognise the mouse movement - also the mouse must be powered up to send signals to the pc, therefore the pc musat STILL be on just in sleep/hibernate/standby....surely!)
good luck sorting it

I have mine to turn on when you click the mouse, not sure about any mouse movement doing it though.
BIOS option under power settings I think, mobo is Abit Fatal1ty NF4 SLI something or other.
