HD Prob
Rebuilt a mates pc after the HD dies, fairly up to date machine, P4, 2GB ram etc.
The HD wasnt being recognized for its true size of 230 gb by the windows installer (bios saw it ok), peed about for ages and then tried it in my machine which correctly identified it so I partitioned it and set up windows on his machine, the drive works and reports 230 gb but is reporting as being full with only 100 gb on ?
Not convinced the drive was brand new, bought it from the local computer shop and it looked like it had been out of the packet.
Any suggestions.
He is installing SP2, hoping this might resolve it.
