MotherBoard Q

Is a "Standard ATX motherboard" the normal size one, as fitted in pc tower cases ?

Yup. It will have 1 or 2 X16 PCI-E slots, 1 X2 PCI-E slot and 4 or 5 PCI slots.

MicroATX will only have 3 PCI slots (or 2 PCI slots and 1 PCI-E X2 slot) + an X16 PCI-E slot.

Either will fit in a midi tower.

Thanks Pete, I'm gonna order a case for my home theatre PC and it says it takes micro ATX or Standard ATX. Good to know I can get a full board & load it up
