Fixed Lan card to wireless??
Is there such a device available that allows you to plug a Cat5 cable into your (usually built in) LAN adapter and connect to a freestanding wireless unit?
I have a media center PC which has little room for expansion or additional PCI devices. In fact there's only two in total!
Also thinking along the same lines for the Xbox360. Those wireless adapters specifically for the Xbox are a damn rip off £60 - there is no way I'm paying that when a wireless card can be obtained for about £10
Thanks
Chris

Thanks for the replies chaps. I'm a little outta touch with the latest technology at the moment. Will look into both of these ideas
