Bought a Belkin wirless usb network adapter so my laptop can connect to my router. Managed to get it set-up and working but it doesn't connect everytime I switch the laptop on (I have to restart it a few times to get online). Does anyone have experience with this device?

Does my main desktop need to be switched on to get online with the laptop? (When I connect the WII and DS it doesnt - so I doubt it does?)

Is there anything I could be doing wrong? or are all USB adapters this temperamental
