Just wondering if there is anyway to open remote files using a pocket PC?

I have been successful in browsing to the folder which contains the excel file i want to open but i can't seem to open it up. No error message, or anything.

I can copy said file to the Pocket PC and open it from there but i want to be able to update the file over the network so users can access it in the office.

Any suggestions whilst i continue my googleing/playing to figure it out myself.

For anyone thats interested i had to use some 3rd party software called "GSFinder+".

maybe someone could help me

desktop / laptop wifi work fine

desktop / ipaq did work once but cannot get the ipaq online

the IP on the ipaq doesnt change from 169.254 etc
changing maunally doesn't work

any ideas?
