Print Screen button won't work for paused video
Anyone know why the PrtSc button won't grab a still of my desktop when I have a video playing in WMP?
The image saves when I paste it into an image program, but the actual video section is transparent.
Any ideas?

It's something to do with the way the video is rendered within players. That's why DVD playing software had to have an image capture option because the standard print screen won't capture the render layer in the video.

Techie Bollocks:
Video plays in an "overlay" window. Basically bypasses the normal Windows way of displaying stuff, so isn't actually there as far as PrtSc is concerned, usually just get a black rectangle.
