Default USB dongle (dongel) ??

Yeah anyway, I have the very expensive MX5000 cordless desktop and its stopped working, the USB dongle has decided to break

Contacted the supplier and they say logitech needs to sort it.

?? legally its their problem aint it ?

Your contract is with those that supplied you the bits. You have nothing to do with whoever supplies their parts.

Imagine having a Skoda and having engine problems and then Skoda saying to you, go and see VW they made the engine

I got this email from them

Hi,

I am sorry to hear that you have received a faulty item, with Logitech products you first need to obtain a reference number directly from them, you can do this by calling them on 0207-3090126. Once you have this please reply to this e-mail with the reference number and will will issue and RMA for you.

So they want YOU to do THEIR donkey work for them. I'd tell them to sort it out, you have no business with logitec but with scan.

You do have the Sales of Goods Act on you're side. Do a search on Google, and it will explain how it works.

I caved and rang them, as Scan were ignoring me. Sent the ref and they're still ignoring me
