Thought I'd give Race (WTCC) a go so pulled down the demo...

Install - no probs
Config - no probs. Oooh, window mode, try that see what it looks like.
Menus - lovely. Looking forward to the game.

Start game - jerky as anything, no control, probably one frame every 2 secs.

Go out, choose full screen mode - same again.
Set to lowest setting - same again.

Saved me yet another 30 quid.

Yea, but what spec is your PC? is it well over the minimum required, because if it's anything close to the minimum then it will run like a bag of sh!te!

It runs every other car game I've got (including RD3, GTR, NFSC) with no problems whatsoever at 1280x1024x32, this piece of crap wouldn't even do 800x600x16

Are you sure it was installed ok? does dx9 need reinstalling?
My PC ran GTR at 1280x1024, GT:Legends at 1024x768, GTR2 and Race at 1024x768 with custom settings.
Brought Race from Tescos for £24.99
Although only done one race of the season cause I brought a HD TV so I'm 360'ing at every opportunity
