PC PROB - FEEZING SCREEN
Afternoon Folk
I am not the most IT capable of people so excuse my ignorance
My PC keeps freezing on me, mouse curser moves but nothing responds.
What is likely to be the cause Over heating by any chance?
I have recently put a graphics card and sound card in.
But this was some time ago
Maybe i need to put it in a fridge lol

Might just be a case of not enough memory. Usually when the computer does nothing it's because it's busy actually doing something in the background like processing tasks that are sat in the memories que.
Also, try doing a disk cleanup and getting rid of any unwanted rubbish, like old data and so on, and then defrag the hard drive(s). That should help cause it might be spending a while organising your harddrive if there isn't a lot of spare room - defragging will sort this out by ordering files correctly on the harddrive. It won'r effect what you will see, but it will improve performance. Computers use hard disk space as memory as well when they run out of actual physical memory....i could go on all day, but then again i'm a geek. Try what i suggested.
