Been a Tiscali customer for about 6 months, signed up on their £17.99/month 2mb broadband package.

Saw recently they were doing £17.99/month for upto 8mb, so thought id give them a ring to upgrade. Quicker speed, no more a month, ideal i thought.

So, before ringing, just did a quick check to make sure our line could handle to increased speed, Tiscali's computer seemed to think it could, so off i went to get the phone.

Hmmm, seems my line ISNT capable of the extra speed, computer says "no" :-( Funny though, cos the computer said yes when i checked.

Anyway, they made their excuses and said it couldnt be done.

Something wasnt right, so i got a neighbour to ring from his house as a new customer to check speed availability, guess what, he was offered upto 8mb for 17.99/month.

Straight back on the phone to Tiscali, upgrade taking place in 7-10 days.

Dodgy, robbing barstewards.

So, if you are a Tiscali customer and you want an upgrade, ring em and demand it.
