Vodafone are rolling out Broadband 3G (HSDPA), upto 3.8Mbs as opposed to about 300Kbs with ordinary data cards. One of my mates got one and gets 2.2Mbs, which is pretty good, don't know the prices though.

Was on vodaphone and they are hellishly expensive, if fact i nearly had a heart attack the first month I used it £97 and it was just used to check emails and a few websites.
However that was pay as you go.
havent used it in a while as my latest laptop doesnt have a PCMCIA connector.

The T-Mobile web and walk professional is limited to 2.5Gb per month, if you sign up for 18months you get the card free.
Just looked on the T-Mobile site...they appear to have changed the tariff...it's now £29 per month unlimited with free Wi-Fi Hotspot...

i am also on the T-Mobile 3g tarrif..
£20 a month unlimited useage (subject to there fair useage polic) use it everyday for email and web browsing.....
travel all over the country with my job. coverage is great.
speed could be better.
free wifi hotspot useage..
TBH i think its the best value way of having internet on the move.
be carefull tho as MOST new laptop DONT have a PCMCIA card slot anymore!!.
HIGHLY RECOMEND T-MOBILE!

yeah i have 2 voice lines and 1 data line....
3g data card has a sim in the bottom.
its good to be able to use the wifi hotspots as its bloody quick broadband speeds when your on them!
