Wireless networking help please
I'm running a wireless network connection from the office pc to my personal pc upstairs.
Wireless router is a BT Voyager 2110.
I've always had issues with it disconnecting now and again (bloody annoying when you leave something downloading), but since I installed XP sp2 last night I now can't connect at all.
I've tried repairing the connection but it can't renew my ip address.
How do I fix it? I can't sit in the office all night!!!
I'm a complete amateur when it comes to this sort of thing so be gentle LOL
Cheers
Dave

I had a voyager 2100 sold it for a tenner
That had disconection problems too, upgraded the firmware never had any problems with sp2 after though
And my first question would be is the wireless network enabled??
If yes try resetting the router first using a small pin or similar (hold in for 5 or so seconds) then unplug leave then reboot it!
Hope the link helps!
