media player problems

media player problems
Just wondering if anybody had experiance this problem and has a solution.
Windows XP media center
DVD plays fine on intervideo
DVD jerky on DVD through media center and windows media player
all other file formats fine
just updated to wmp11 to see if that will cure the problem - no
new video drivers - no fix
checked the task manager and no other process is using CPU to slow it down.
Any thoughts ?
