Question DVD writers - advice please

Hi - looking at getting a DVD writer.

Never used one before so I'm not really up on the pros & cons of different types...

Is it worth getting one nowor hanging on to get one that will support BlueRay discs?

The sony DW-G120A looks to be the sort of thing i'm after ~ £22 ish at Eclipse Computers - Product Details

Any thoughts? - prefer it in black or silver

Cheers

Mick

BLuRay will cost you a fortune and may not even take off

Just make sure your new DVD writer does DVD-R, RW and CD-r, RW amd duel layer DVD-R at + and - 16 you won't go wrong!

The sony's are **** for compatibility.

Buy a Pioneer 111 but not the 111D model, they burn any manufacturers DVD, no matter how cheap.
