want to go LIVE with an xbox 360.

Let me put you in the picture.

I have a netgear wireless router sat alone next to my phoneline broadcasting a internet signal across my house.

Nothing is connected to it via wires only wireless (Laptop, PSP and a Nokia N80)

I can change all the settings on the router wirelessly on my laptop.

I have it this way so I can use all the devices all over my house to access the internet.

SO when I get an xbox 360 and a microsoft USB wireless gaming thing, will this connect straight to the router and let me use the LIVE features?

The XBOX is in the same room as the wireless router but I dont want wires trailing along the floor as they are in different corners of the room.

If this all connects up, how easy is it to network between the laptop and the XBOX in the way of music, photos and films?

It works as you describe. You plug in the Xbox 360 wireless card and it'll connect and allow you to share.

if you get the official unit it's very easy to set-up with all the config done via the dashboard.
