Question How Do I?

Turn off the predivtive text in Google Search Engine?

On the right side of the toolbar is a green setting button:

Click that then options...

Click the "Search box settings" button

Untick all the stuff you dont want.

IE > Tools > Internet Options > Content > Auto Complete

If it's the new google toolbar

Click on the G and Select Manage > Features > Search Box Settings, untick 'Suggest Popular Searches

That clears them ... but how do I turn the option off completely??

I can't see any green G in the google home page??

Just untick the boxes if you don't want the browser to remember them in the future.

If you just want to delete certain words that are in the autocomplete, just go to Google as normal, click in the text box and when the entries aer shown, just cursr down and delete the ones you dont want.
