Default I need a good free disk clean up programme

I am currently running XP Pro and after 4 years of never having formatted it- i now find it runs very slow from all the crap on it from various old programmes and websites i have been on- i dont want to do a format so anyone know any good free to use disk clean up programmes i can run on it to get it back up to speed- as an example when first installed, my virus checker would do a complete check in approx 15 mins now it takes it an hour .

So anyone help me ?

This looks good but I have a daft question. Does it wipe all your e mails and things like that to? Your favourite's list also?

I can vouch for CCleaner. It's very good. As said above you can customise the areas you want 'tidied up'. You'll be amazed at the amount of $hite you'll get rid of...

I've d/loaded and run CCleaner expect for the issues function.
After analyse, I have a great list of issues - is it a case of just letting CCleaner sort them out or I should I be cautious about which problems it resolves?
I had to go through all the cookies and keep particular ones before letting it loose.
