Oi! Computer boffins
How do you open a second internet window so you can cycle between sites. It makes life easier when using scoobynet and photobucket. At the moment I have to look for a link on scoobynet and let that open the other window.
Thanks
Andy.
Thanks

It's a dam site better than IE
FireFox has received praise from industry analysts as well as general consumers and is the backbone of the latest Netscape Navigator releases. The advantages of FireFox are not limited purely to security, though it is a factor to be considered. FireFox is, as the Mozilla team members refer to it, a "lean, mean browsing machine."
Featuring a built in pop-up blocker, FireFox has put a stop to pop-ups almost completely.
Because FireFox is developed by a community of independent contributors with the users in mind, there are slew of plug-ins and expansion options, called extensions, available for free download - Dictionary/Bible search bars, Blogging tools, as well as appearance enhancements.
The advantage of FireFox can be summed up in two words - tabbed browsing.
Tabbed browsing is a means by which separate web pages that would typically be opened in additional browser windows are nested within a single window leaving only one instance of FireFox in your taskbar.
You can open new tabs from the toolbar, right-click on hyperlinks and tell FireFox to "Open in a New Tab" or select a set of links from you favorites list to be opened in separate tabs. The economy afforded by this feature is reason enough to make the switch.
Once you have used tabbed browsing, you'll wonder how you ever browsed without it.

Tried opera and ie7 and although they have tabbed browsing, you can't middle click to close. Also can't middle click the links toolbar to get it in a tab etc. Also both are too busy. Firefox rocks as it's simple and uncluttered out the box and works. Less is more with browsers which many programmers miss the point.

FF 2 RC1 has cured the mem leak problem. Got it running at the moment - seems very stable. I do prefer FF to IE (although 7 is a big improvement). FF is by no means perfect though - there have been a load of vulnerabilities discovered this year.

FF is a system hog, (even the latest version), after you've had it running a while, and it has some very annoying page rending bugs. It is getting better though...
What worries me with it are the number of large security holes that have been discovered in it recently. They've been fixed, but it makes you wonder what else is lurking in there...

Also, when opening a new link if you use the right mouse you can choose to open in a new window or tab.
