Lego Star Wars II

Anyone got this yet? My son has been waiting months for this and it was advertised as being released today. Just went to get it for him and they said oh the release date was brought forward to Friday at 4pm (Game stores). My son was waiting all weekend and I wont see him for 2 weeks now and he could have been playing it if it had been advertised properly

Has it been worth waitng for? It looks bloody good.

The official release date is today. If Game were selling it on Friday, then they were selling it early.

I got mine on Saturday morning from gameplay.co.uk. I'm not sure how long the game will last, but it is superb. Loving every minute of it

I know the feeling mate. I'll be with my boy this weekend so will be gettin the game today. Sorry to hear that and shame on Game as I was on their site at around 5pm checking to see if the date would have changed to Friday.

Because it coincides with todays release of the movies (original theatrical versions) on dvd...

Cheers, I asked them about a Monday release as its normally Friday and there was some silly reason for it but can't remember what it was now. Also apparently its been delayed for the PSP

the demos available for download (has been for a while), and it looks and plays better than the first, with some good new features. Its on my sons birthday list!

My son loves it and is better with a light sabre than me.
Its a great game. Will be even better when I know what I'm doing

....I did use the no cd crack

Anyway to fix it? without having to revert to using the CD

choices choices - which one is the better version? PC or 360? Don't mind paying the extra for the 360 version IF it is better.......

I bought the 360 version so I could play it on the hi-def 42" plasma tv, surround system, better multiplayer (it' not easy to get two people using the same pc keyboard), and get the achievement points. Besides, I like sitting on the sofa to play games these days...

Graphically, both versions are pretty similar though as long as you have a beefy enough pc to run it at full detail...

Same game on all formats I believe. Well I've read the reviews in Edge and Games TM this month and no differences are mentioned. As a cross platform title this is a good one BTW.
