Ipaq 5550 wireless problems.......help
Hi People,
I`ve got an Ipaq 5550 and i`m trying to connect it to my Linksys wireless broadband router(model no. WRT54GS). THe ipaq finds it o.k. but i still cant get any web pages up. It tells me my it can`t connect with the settings i`ve got at the moment and to re configure them.
At the end of the day i`m a complete computer illiterate and need some advice can anyone help me
Thanks in advance
Nick

I assume you've replicated the settings that you've defined in your router onto the IPAQ?
ie You need to know what encryption (If any) that you're using,SSID (Case sensitive so be aware),have you enabled mac address filtering? (If so,you'll need to add the mac address of the IPAQ into the list of allowed macs in the router)
Good luck
