Question Just installing a linksys adsl router... couple of questions

For a mate - he's updated to a wireless adsl modem router.

Having one issue. Got the settings for his ISP (plusnet), set it up at my place, but could only get a red light on the "internet" led.

Can I assume that this is due to us trying to set this up at my house using my bt line?

If not, can anybody confirm the settings that I need to input into the router?

Linksys WRT54GC running plusnet 8Meg broadband..

Any ideas?

Dan

Should sync up the pvc even without a username/password

It's in Status > DSL connection on my one....

yeah should still show a signal, it will just not connect. You could also try your settings in on it to check.
